The Caramel Foundation offers various medical specialties to all genders without exception, without discrimination based on local, regional, national, and international origin. Our priority is to provide health services to the population of Les Cayes. In addition, we focus on the renewal of sanitary equipment, the procurement of medical inputs, and the good treatment of our medical and administrative personnel.

The municipality of Les Cayes is one of the five largest cities in Haiti. Its current population is around 126,000 inhabitants, with a density of 574 inhabitants per square kilometer.
With a demographic growth rate of 1.52%, the city of Les Cayes has the fewest public and non-public hospitals that can meet the needs and emergencies of healthcare in various medical specialties (5 hospitals, 209 beds for a population of 126,000 inhabitants). As a result, the inhabitants of this city continue to travel hundreds of kilometers to benefit from services from healthcare specialists in Port-au-Prince, and other regions of the country.
